The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing will involve:
* Assistant Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial & industrial roofing systems across education, healthcare and public sectors
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations
* Work closely with the Senior Contracts Manager to ensure each project is running successfully
* Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors
* Review project specifications, drawings and contract documentation to identify commercial requirements
* Working multiple projects at one time, varying in size from £50k - £1m+
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Roofing with:
* Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction / trade sector
* Highly advantageous to be an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor within roofing
* Beneficial to possess a related degree (quantity surveying, construction management etc.)
* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
* Full UK driving license
