Job Title: Junior Python Developer
Location: Birmingham (Remote!)
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE
We are looking for passionate developers who love to build things!
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about software development and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be attractive to candidates who like the challenge of working for a start-up, but have the security of working within a well-established company with plenty of opportunity for further career growth and building your own team!
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop backend systems using Python.
Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop high-quality software solutions using Python.
Create and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Around 2 years of experience with Python (preferred with FastAPI or Flask).
Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MongoDB or DynamoDB)
Experience with full stack development using React, Angular, or Vue.js
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
