Junior Project Manager

Description:

Working with a leading business in Coventry in their search for a Junior Project Manager to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. If you're immediately available, used to working in a fast paced environment and want to work for a global brand who can train and develop you this could be the opportunity. £25-30,000 per annum, 3 days on site with 2 from home.

Day-to-day activities would include:

- Providing project management support through scheduling, task planning, team organisation, development of budgets/financial models and preparation of other supporting documentation as required.
- To be the primary customer contact for assigned projects
- Successfully manage assigned projects for a business stream achieving customer requirements along with meeting the business goals of schedule, quality, cost, risk management
- Maximise opportunities to win new or follow-on business and prepare Bid information
- Monitor project performance against plan and identify appropriate corrective actions by conducting periodic cost, schedule, performance and risk reviews
- Identify and secure the required resources to successfully execute project
- Manage all customer interfaces and communicate effectively to senior management team members and peers to establish a common understanding of project scope and plan for successful project execution
- Prepare and present project status reports to key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably required
