Description:
We are recruiting for a Junior Product Change Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience using SAP and a keen eye for detail to support the management of product data and engineering changes across the business.
Working closely with the Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate product information, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring product changes are implemented efficiently throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, maintain and update product master data within SAP.
* Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, production versions and technical specifications.
* Assess and implement product changes within SAP.
* Ensure product data is accurate, complete and consistent across all systems.
* Support new product introductions by preparing and maintaining SAP master data.
* Work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to coordinate product updates.
* Assist with technical product information, sustainability data, packaging information and product documentation.
* Maintain product images and technical drawings within SAP.
* Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
* Support ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures.
* Carry out any additional duties required to support the wider business.
About You

Essential
* Previous experience using SAP in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Degree in Production Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Desirable
* Understanding of technical or electrical products.
* Experience maintaining ERP master data.
* Knowledge of product lifecycle or engineering change processes.
