Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity in Sandwich for a Junior Payroll Assistant to support a growing organisation. This role is a full-time position working Monday- Friday, 8am to 4pm.
You will be employed on a temp-perm basis.
Responsibilities
* Working to support the payroll team to input timesheets for the operatives
* Processing timesheets for circa 620+ operatives, ensuring payroll meets deadlines
* Chase any missing timesheets, annual leave forms, and sickness forms
* Work closely with colleagues and managers to ensure queries with timesheets are resolved
* Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
* Using accounting SAGE software
Skills, Education and Experience required
* Related experience and/or understanding required - applications from those who have just started within payroll will be considered
* SAGE knowledge and experience
* Confident and proficient in using Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills
* Accuracy and a good eye for detail
