With a pedigree of completing high end HVAC projects for leading Tier 1 contractors we pride ourselves on being a leader in the HVAC field. We currently operate from locations throughout the UK – Bristol, Cardiff and now London. We provide full inhouse mechanical design through inception to project completion.
We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Supervisor who is looking to grow within a company long term based in London.
Working closely with senior management, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, the Junior Mechanical Supervisor will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical HVAC installations on complex construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in supervising mechanical HVAC installations on highprofile construction projects, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated works.
* Collaborate with senior management, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate workflow, resolve technical issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Participate in project planning and scheduling activities, including material procurement, resource allocation, and progress tracking, to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality standards, and health and safety compliance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks as they arise.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, including apprentices and trainees, fostering their professional development and growth within our organisation.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Uphold company policies, procedures, and values, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or a related field desirable
* Full City & Guilds level 2&3 in Air Conditioning or Plumbing/Pipefitting equivalent.
* Previous experience in a mechanical HVAC contracting environment, with a track record of delivering successful projects for prestigious clients.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proven organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
* Valid CSCS card relevant health and safety certifications, such as SMSTS or SSSTS, are desirable are essential.
