London | Permanent | Office/Site Based | No Hybrid | No Sponsorship
A leading UK design & build fit-out contractor is looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their London team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career within a leading fit-out business, working on high-end commercial office projects and exciting education schemes across London.
We're open to candidates at different stages of their career. You could be a Junior Mechanical Engineer looking to develop, or a Revit MEP Technician ready to take the next step into mechanical engineering.
The Role
Support the mechanical design of commercial and education fit-out projects.
Produce and develop mechanical drawings and models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Work alongside experienced engineers and design teams.
Develop your knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling and other mechanical services.
Assist with design coordination, calculations and technical documentation.
Gain exposure to projects from design through to construction.About You
Good knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Some understanding or experience of mechanical building services.
A genuine interest in developing your career in mechanical design.
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Ambition to progress and develop technically.This role would particularly suit a Revit Technician who wants to move into a Junior Mechanical Engineer position, with the opportunity to gain valuable engineering and project experience within a major D&B contractor.
