Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of innovative machinery. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to bring concepts to life and play a vital role in advancing our product line.
Key Responsibilities:
·Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs for textile machinery, with a primary focus on hemp fiber decortication and cleaning equipment.
·Utilize CAD software (Solidworks preferred, but open to other major 3D CAD packages) to create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings.
·Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
·Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
·Support the transition of designs from concept to production, working closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams.
·Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
·Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in Solidworks preferred.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
·Previous experience or coursework in textile machinery design is a plus but not required.
