Junior Graphic Designer
Location: Rochford, Essex – office-based
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Contract: Initially a six-month, full-time fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.
We are recruiting a Junior Graphic Designer for an established automotive business in Essex.
Joining the marketing team, you’ll work alongside an experienced Graphic Designer to create digital and printed materials promoting a range of products and services.
This is an opportunity to develop your skills, contribute creative ideas and gain experience across varied projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Create artwork for website banners, social media, email campaigns, printed marketing materials and point-of-sale displays.
* Work alongside the Graphic Designer to turn internal briefs and ideas into accurate, finished artwork.
* Bring fresh ideas to projects while working within brand guidelines.
* Prepare designs for digital use and print.
* Manage your workload to meet deadlines in a busy marketing environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure designs meet the brief and company standards.
* Keep up to date with design trends and best practice.
About you
* A passion for graphic design and a willingness to learn.
* At least six months’ graphic design experience.
* Experience using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
* Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint and Word.
* An understanding of brand identity and how to apply it consistently.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills and confidence managing multiple briefs.
* Ability to commute to Rochford for this office-based role.
