Junior Food Technologist
Commutable from Weymouth, Bridport, Dorchester, Wareham, Poole
Kick-start your career in food technology, quality and NPD.
The position could suit a Food Technology, Food Science or Nutrition graduate with some industry experience and a genuine interest in food manufacturing to join our busy Technical, Quality and NPD teams.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable factory experience while supporting product quality, food safety, compliance and new product development.
Junior Food Technologist What you’ll do
Support Quality, Product and NPD activities across the factory
Draft and maintain product specifications and declarations
Check artwork and labelling for accuracy and compliance
Work with suppliers, customers and internal teams
Support continuous improvement and food safety standards
Gain practical experience of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
Junior Food Technologist Skills / Experience Required:
Degree/qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition or similar
Some relevant work experience, placement or industry exposure
Good knowledge of food technology and nutrition
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
