Description:
This client based in the Perth area is looking to bring in a Junior Estimator/Trainee QS with the view of developing them within the company.
The Role
To support the Senior QS, Director and Senior Project Managers with pricing, tenders and estimates.
Responsibilities
* Downloading tender documents.
* Issue enquiries to Sub-contractors/Suppliers etc.
* Reviewing & selecting sub-contractor quotations.
* Collation of information and completion of Bills of Quantities.
* Preparation of estimates based off square metre rates/Preparing budget rates etc.
* Collation of Tender Analysis.
* Maintain Sub-Contractor Database.
* Administration & filing tasks for Estimating Team.
* Any other duties required by the Company.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role would be desirable.
* Strong interpersonal, communications and organisation skills.
* Ability to work well to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* A strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure to deliver high quality work in a demanding environment.
