Junior Estimator
Location: Nottingham
Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Are you looking to move your career into estimating within the ground engineering and construction industry?
We're recruiting for a Junior Estimator on behalf of a specialist geotechnical and earthworks contractor delivering complex piling, ground engineering and earthworks schemes across the UK.
With a collaborative approach to project delivery, the company works closely with clients from early tender stages through to project completion, developing innovative solutions that manage risk and deliver cost and time efficiencies.
The Role - Junior Estimator
As a Junior Estimator, you'll receive training and support while developing your technical and commercial skills. Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation of tenders, quotations and cost estimates.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.
Supporting cost analysis, material take-offs and pricing exercises.
Helping identify project risks and opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

Requirements - Junior Estimator
To be considered, you'll need:
Experience in the geotechnical/earthworks or environmental engineering industry with a genuine interest in estimating.
Industry relevant degree.
Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
A full UK driving licence.
Full right to work in the UK, without sponsorship.
To live in or near Nottingham, within commuting distance of the office.
