Are you from a Joinery CAD background, with exposure to pricing or take-offs looking to take the next step in your career and become a fully qualified Estimator?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a CAD / technical drawing background to move into a fully trained Estimator role within a specialist bespoke joinery and woodworking manufacturer.

The Role:

Reading technical drawings, specifications and client information
Supporting quotations for bespoke joinery and woodworking projects
Completing material take-offs, supplier pricing and labour costing
Pricing machine shop, bench joinery, finishing and polishing work
Working closely with CAD, production, project and senior management teams
Developing commercial knowledge around margins, variations and final accounts
Speaking with suppliers, clients and internal teams The Person:

CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsperson, Technical Designer, Junior Estimator or similar
Background in joinery, woodworking, furniture, cabinetry, shopfitting or similar
Able to read and understand technical drawings
Exposure to pricing, quotations, take-offs, BOMs, material schedules or costing
Interested in moving into estimating, pricing and commercial project work
Confident communicator with good attention to detail
Keen to learn, develop and progress long term The Benefits:
