Gathering, reviewing and analysing material and project data.
*
Reviewing Environmental Product Declarations and other product information.

Using carbon-assessment software and recognised industry databases.
*
Comparing materials and design options to identify carbon-reduction opportunities.
*
Producing technical calculations, reports and presentations.

Supporting the preparation of circular-economy and sustainability statements.
*
Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors and wider design teams.

A relevant degree in sustainability, environmental engineering, building services, architecture, construction, quantity surveying or a related discipline.
*
An academic or practical understanding of embodied carbon, WLCA or LCA.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
*
Confidence working with technical information, data and spreadsheets.
*
Good written and verbal communication skills.
*
An organised and methodical approach.
*
A genuine interest in sustainable design and reducing the environmental impact of the built environment.
Experience using One Click LCA or similar carbon-assessment software would be beneficial. However, applications are also welcomed from candidates with relevant academic knowledge and the motivation to develop their practical experience.
