Role Overview
The Junior Cyber Security Analyst will assist with monitoring, identifying, and responding to potential security threats while helping to ensure the business maintains a strong cyber security posture. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of cyber security tools, processes, and technologies while developing their knowledge within the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor security alerts and events using cyber security monitoring tools.
* Assist in identifying, investigating, and escalating potential security incidents.
* Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities.
* Help maintain cyber security policies, procedures, and documentation.
* Assist with user access reviews and identity management processes.
* Support the implementation of security controls across systems and networks.
* Monitor endpoint protection and anti-malware solutions.
* Contribute to cyber security awareness initiatives across the organisation.
* Assist with security audits and compliance activities.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security activities.
* Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes where required.
