Junior Calibration Engineer
£25,000 + Progression + Training + Benefits + 37 Hour weeks, No Weekends, No Nights
Location - Bracknell

As a junior Calibration Engineer, you'll be responsible for the testing, calibration, operation and repair of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electrohydraulic, or electronic measuring and recording instruments within a laboratory setting.

The successful candidate will be provided initial and ongoing training to get up to speed and have the chance to progress to a qualified technical engineer.

The Job

Working under ISO 9001 & BS EN ISO/IEC 17025
The production of calibration and test certificates.
Instrument fault diagnosis and some minor repairs.
Setting up of test equipment
Write technical reports.
£25,000 + Progression + Training + Benefits + 37 Hour weeks, No Weekends, No NightThe Person
What are we looking for, as our ideal candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience of working in a calibration laboratory to ISO 9001 or ISO17025.
Minimum BTEC in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar
Methodical with a practical ability including diagnostic skills.
