Junior Buying Assistant.
Buyer Hourly Rate: £15 - £19ph Outside IR35
Maternity cover contract role '' 3x months +
Orion is partnered with a well-established Steel Fabrication business located in Dunstable which is recruiting for a junior Buyer to assist with the running of the procurement side of the business.
Buyer responsibilities:
Ordering of consumables
Dealing with suppliers
Managing and sending quotes
All administrative duties
Managing BACS payments
Document control
Dealing with proforma's
Checking drawings to ensure that the full bill of materials is included.
Sending back unused or unwanted products
Arrange couriers as and when needed
Chasing credit notes
Stock management
Buyer Experience:
Ideally will have experience in either the construction, manufacturing or engineering industry
Strong administrative experience and skills
Strong communication skills
Microsoft packages including word, excel etc..
SAGE Accounts
Stock management
Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems, and escalate issues in a fast-paced environment.
Buyer Shifts: Monday - Friday 8:30 '' 16:30
