Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer required. Our client is a well-established procurement specialist within the engineering sector based in Colchester, who are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer to join the team.

Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer Position Overview

Researching and liaising with potential vendors.
Obtaining and comparing pricing from suppliers.
Negotiating on price and terms of business.
Preparing quotations for customers.
Placing and handling purchase orders.
Track and progress orders to meet customer delivery dates.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure quality of goods and deliveries are met on time.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
General customer service-related duties.

Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer Position Requirements

Previous experience within a Purchasing or Sales Engineering related role
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Full UK Driving License
IT proficient
Based in a commutable distance of Colchester

Junior Buyer / Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary: £30-35K OTE
Bonus: The Company runs a bonus scheme which details of would usually be provided at the end of the first year of employment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 0830 - 17:00, 37.5 hour working week, some work outside of these hours may be required due to the nature of the business.
Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus public holidays.
