Main Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Regional Buyer in procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Supporting with reporting and fulfilling material and site procurement in line with agreed start dates.
Managing supplier partnerships to ensure timely placement of orders and resolution of supplier invoice queries.
Communicating effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
Adding value to the overall Commercial function, enhancing your knowledge and understanding of the function.
The Ideal Candidate
A solid understanding of the housebuilding/construction market.
Strong financial and commercial awareness.
Knowledge of current technical and design regulations.
Proficiency in the COINS (procurement section) system and Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and literacy skills.
