Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit for a key business within the manufacturing industry to facilitate their busy operation.
Our client, who are a well-recognised manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant to work at their busy factory based in Haverhill.
Duties will include:
* Managing incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
* Working with spreadsheets
* Working with sales and purchase ledgers
* Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
* Assisting with preparation of the weekly payroll
* Assisting with credit control
* Managing petty cash
* To attend studies whilst working
Hours and Pay:
* 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
* £20,000pa - £24,000pa DOE
Experience/Skills Required:
* Currently studying AAT or looking to go to the next level of the qualification. Our client are open to assisting with the studies, alongside working.
* Bookkeeping experience
* Good interpersonal and communications skills
* Good teamworking skills
* Good IT skills
* Ability to work to monthly deadlines
