Description:

Our client, an independent, family run, market leading commercial insurance brokerage based in Redhill, is currently looking to recruit a Junior Account Handler within their Commercial Insurance Team due to recent business growth.

You will be part of a busy team where you will perform basic administration tasks, deal with incoming post, general and process renewal and new business documentation to enable Sales and Account Handlers to deal directly with customers.

You will be joining a team of friendly professionals that really do get on and care about the company they work for. The commercial team have some ambitious growth plans over the next coming years, so this is a great opportunity to join them!

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 (DOE) plus team performance bonus

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Start: 3rd June 2024 – please only apply if you can commit to this start date and have no pre-booked holiday for the first 4 weeks, due to training/induction

What will your working week be like?

* Sort and distribute the incoming post.

* Collect and frank the post on a daily basis.

* Accurately process new business and renewal documentation and send to clients in an effective and timely manner.

* Write and dispatch routine letters to clients.

* Effectively deal with incoming post and email enquiries including carrying out mid-term adjustments.

* Contact clients by telephone when necessary to chase outstanding documents, direct debit defaults and payments.

* Carry out pre-renewal checks with clients and gather pre-renewal documents.

* Update client records as requested.

* Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.

* Attend team and staff meetings as and when required.
