Joinery / Bespoke Furniture Estimator
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent / Full Time
About the Role
We are working with an established bespoke furniture and joinery business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality projects.
They are looking for an experienced Joinery / Bespoke Furniture Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and quotations across a range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery and furniture projects.
* Review drawings, specifications and client requirements.
* Calculate materials, labour, manufacturing and installation costs.
* Price bespoke joinery, cabinetry, furniture and associated works.
* Obtain and review supplier/subcontractor quotations.
* Liaise with clients, designers, production and project teams.
* Review design changes and provide revised costs.
* Support value engineering and alternative solutions.
* Prepare clear, accurate client quotations.
* Assist with project handovers once secured.
Skills & Experience
* Estimating experience within bespoke joinery, furniture, cabinetry or manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of joinery construction and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
* Good knowledge of materials, finishes, ironmongery and hardware.
* Strong numerical, commercial and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicating with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
* Good Excel and IT skills.
Experience across high-end residential, commercial, retail or hospitality projects would be advantageous
