Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Dual Trade Joiner to join an in‑house reactive maintenance team in Trafford, Greater Manchester. This is a 12‑week temporary role with the potential to become permanent based on performance. You will work within the Responsive Repairs team, supporting housing stock across the Northwest.
Contract Details
Position: Dual Trade Joiner (Temp to Perm)
Hours: 36.25 per week
Rate: £19 per hour (Temp)
Contract: 12‑week temporary, with potential to move permanent
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Mobile role - van provided for business use
Key Responsibilities
Carry out responsive repairs across housing stock
Internal and external door fitting
Splice repairs and general locksmith work
Bathroom sub‑floor repairs and bath panel installation
Kitchen framework repairs and refits
General maintenance and multi‑trade duties
Deliver a right‑first‑time service to residents
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Participate in out‑of‑hours rota (additional pay provided)
Requirements
Recognised trade qualification in carpentry/joinery
Proven experience in maintenance or responsive repairs
Strong multi‑trade skills
Excellent customer service approach
Health and safety awareness
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Own hand tools required (power tools provided)
Previous experience in a similar role
