Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting a Joiner for a leading manufacturing business. The Role:
* You will be expected to perform your duties competently and consistently to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained across our sites at all times.
* You should be confident in handling carpentry tasks and capable of working as part of a team to address various maintenance needs, including repairs and upkeep of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
* This includes responding promptly to daily issues such as door repairs, flooring repairs, skirting boards, and architraves.
* You will inspect reported hazards, perform repairs, and maintain all departments. Reliability, collaboration, motivation, and pride in your work are essential. Flexibility is required, as you will work across multiple sites, with the possibility of some out-of-hours work.
* Would suit a Multiskilled Joiner, Joiner, Bench hand Joiner or Skilled Joiner.
Duties:
* Handle necessary repairs and maintenance, responding promptly to any requests.
* Collaborate with sub-contractors, maintenance workers managers, shift managers, and directors across all departments and sites.
* Follow instructions from the Group Facilities Manager.
* Use equipment such as power tools and hand tools, Operate machinery safely and efficiently. Install fixtures and fittings, including doors, handles, door frames, locks, hinges, shelving, and cabinets.
* Participate in projects related to the role, such as refurbishment work.
* Work in various environments, including workshops, factories, noisy, dusty, oily settings, at heights, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Provide reactive remedial repairs for building requirements, including refurbishments, repairs, and general carpentry for production-related furniture like bespoke tables and shelving.
* Conduct all planned maintenance on time and to the highest standards. Handle difficult one-off tasks or assignments. Take measurements and order required materials through our engineering stores.
This role is working a days regular pattern, Monday to Friday and is a permanent role. Please contact Laura at Questech
