Description:
I am recruiting for an experienced Java Developer to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days in either Bristol, Manchester, Harwell or London, 3 days remote - with some further flexibility.
The role falls outside IR35.
You will have strong experience with Java backend development, including working with modern Java-based API frameworks, such as Spring Boot/Jersey to develop REST-based APIs.
You must also have an appreciation for Test Driven Development (TDD).
Experience of implementing component level automated tests is essential.
You will also have experience of Java Restlet framework and some knowledge of working with Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
In-depth knowledge and experience of working with Maven is preferred.
Working with Cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud is also desirable.
