Job Title: Java Developer - SC Cleared - Spring Boot Microservices

Our client is looking for an experienced Java Developer with active SC clearance. You'll join their team to design, build and maintain RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot in an Agile environment.
As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that adhere to industry best practives and standards. The successful candidate preferably should have SC/DV clearance or must be eligible and willing to go through SC/DV clearance.
What you'll do
* Design, develop and deploy RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot
* Work with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and deliver features
* Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID principles
* Carry out unit and integration testing and build automated test suites
* Take part in code reviews and produce low-level design documentation
What you'll bring
* Active SC clearance (essential)
* 3+ years' experience as a Java Developer (Java 8+) building microservices
* Strong Spring Boot, REST API design and SOAP/WSDL/XML experience
* TDD and BDD experience using JUnit and Cucumber
* Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD and SonarQube
* Maven or Gradle, and Git
* MySQL/PostgreSQL, plus MongoDB or another document database
* Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
Nice to have
* Angular, React, Node.js or JavaScript
* Keycloak, Kafka or ActiveMQ, Mockito, Jackson, JAX-RS
* Experience with high-traffic sites or large data sets
