Role: IT Team Leader
Location: Remote (With Very Occasional Local Site Visits)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a crucial role in our client's team, contributing to the design, implementation, and support of customized IT solutions for our company. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering unparalleled support and service to their diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Customer Support:
* Provide exceptional support to customers and potential leads through various communication channels, including our ticket/helpdesk system, email, telephone, and on-site visits.
* Manage workload efficiently, collaborating with the Support Manager and engineers to ensure timely support and adherence to SLAs.

Project Management:
* Undertake end-to-end project responsibilities, from design to implementation and handover, as required.
* Collaborate with sales and business development teams when leading or contributing to projects, ensuring seamless communication.

Team Management:
* Manage a team of engineers, ensuring they fulfill their roles and responsibilities effectively.
* Monitor helpdesk and engineering workloads, assisting the Support Manager in maintaining smooth operations.

Documentation and Development:
* Contribute to the development of bespoke company solutions to enhance competitiveness in the market.
* Assist in maintaining and developing comprehensive documentation for projects and solutions to facilitate seamless support by any team member.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
* Ensure all team members adhere to standards and procedures outlined in the Support Handbook and Employee Handbook.
* Regularly meet with team members to discuss workload, performance, and address any concerns or challenges.
* Monitor helpdesk and team performance, proactively raising concerns and suggesting improvements to the Support Manager.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:
* Undergo company-provided training and internally share acquired knowledge to ensure best practices throughout the organization.
* Continuously develop and share personal IT knowledge to keep the company competitive and cost-effective.
