ONSITE Heathrow / Heston 
£50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced and hands-on IT Systems & Network Administrator to join our client’s IT team.
This is a varied infrastructure role covering network administration, firewall management, virtualisation, servers and end-user support. Strong, practical experience with SonicWall and VMware ESXi/vSphere is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls, including VPNs, security policies and access rules.
Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere, including virtual machines, backups, snapshots and performance.
Support Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
Provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
Monitor and maintain network, server and virtual infrastructure.
Support backup, disaster recovery and security requirements.
Work with external IT suppliers and support infrastructure projects where required. About You
5+ years' experience in an IT Systems, Network Administration or Infrastructure role.
Proven hands-on experience with SonicWall firewalls – this is essential.
Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi/vSphere.
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills. Relevant IT certifications and experience of multi-site environments, PowerShell or infrastructure monitoring tools would be advantageous.
The Package Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
Location: Heathrow / Heston
Working: Fully office/depot based – no remote working
