We have an exciting new opportunity for a IT Systems and Database Analyst to join our team based in Bristol. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week). In return, you will receive a salary of £46,629 per annum.

About our IT Systems and Database Analyst role:

As an IT Systems and Database Analyst, you’ll design new IT solutions, modify existing systems and integrate new features, to improve our customer service and our business efficiency. The role will largely be focused on developing technical solutions on the MRI housing management, finance and asset systems as well as supporting with complex infrastructure projects. 

This is a fully hybrid role but there are expectations to attend the office when required. It is envisaged this will be 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities as our IT Systems and Database Analyst:

Research and analyse Brighter Places existing business processes to identify areas for improvement. Identify options, prepare proposals and implement solutions for modified or replacement systems, modules and way of working across all aspects of the housing management, finance and asset management systems as well as IT infrastructure.

Utilise customer journeys to develop IT technical solutions that maximise the customer experience and improve business processes.

Lead on upgrades of systems to ensure Brighter Places maintains version compatibility and maximises security and functionality.

Scope, design and build complex business reports to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders ensuring validity through effective testing and assurance checks.

Work with the IT Project Manager to determine budgets and timeframes to implement proposed solutions, ensuring that implementation projects remain within agreed budgets and timeframes with regular progress reporting.

Design and oversee test plans and conduct rigorous testing before rolling out changes to live systems.

About our IT Systems and Database Analyst:

A high level of technical expertise and broad knowledge of hardware and software, including MRI Suite or similar housing software.

Knowledge of SQL databases.

Experience of writing technical documentation and configuration.

Experience of developing complex reports using different mediums for all levels of stakeholder.

Excellent analytical skills.

The ability to learn quickly and work successfully as part of a team.

A logical approach to problem solving.
