We are looking for a skilled DevOps / System Administrator with a broad range of experience across infrastructure, software, IT and IT security/cyber. 

On offer is hybrid working with close access from the A14. 
This buisess builds and delivers software and services that truly changes peoples lives! 

Details as follows: 

Key responsibilities:

Manage and maintain hosting sites to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Administer databases to support the storage and retrieval of educational content, user data, and other critical information.
Implement and maintain backup solutions to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuity.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential security risks.
Monitor system logs, analyse security incidents, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices and support the development and deployment of new features and enhancements.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.Qualifications:

Proven experience as a system administrator or similar, with a focus on hosting sites, databases, and information security.
Proficiency in administering Linux server environments.
Strong understanding of information security principles, standards, and best practices. Experience with ISO 27001 is highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of web hosting technologies, including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, Django and PWAs, their rolling updates, red/black deployments and roll-backs.
Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Docker and with continuous integration pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket pipelines) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform and/or hosting solutions such as Rackspace, SiteGround, Ionos or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration.
