A private school on the outskirts of York are currently recruiting a IT Support Technician to join their team.

As IT Support Technician you will play a key role in maintaining the school's main IT systems, provide network and desktop support to staff, carry out routine maintenance, train end users and configure new systems. This role would suit someone with previous experience of working with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Office 365 and helpdesk systems in a network administration role. Exceptional IT skills are imperative, along with a customer focused approach and excellent communication and organisation skills.
Essential criteria for this role:
Good understanding of Windows 10 & 11, Office 365 and Adobe Products
Understanding of TCP/IP networks
Knowledge of the core technology of IT networks & systems
Experience of working in a network administration role
Literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE or equivalent
Exceptional IT skills
Practical skills particularly hands on troubleshooting and diagnostic
Ability to work to deadlines
Good communication skills and excellent organisational skills
