Job Title: Support Technician

Location: Hartlepool - TS24 9AH and/or North Tees - TS19 8PE

Trust: North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust

Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totaling 37.5 working hours per week. (This role offers a hybrid arrangement, with 3-4 Days Onsite & 1-2 Day Working from Home)

Pay Rate: £15.67/Hr.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Support Technician will play a crucial role in the mobile device rollout program, providing assistance in specific mobile device enrollment and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tasks. This position primarily involves addressing MDM issues on the Help Desk and providing remote and field support to ensure seamless integration and functionality of mobile devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) tasks, including device enrollment and configuration.

* Provide support for mobile device enrollment processes, ensuring efficient onboarding of new devices.

* Assist in resolving MDM-related issues encountered by users on the Help Desk and through remote/field support.

* Administer Active Directory to maintain user accounts and permissions.

* Troubleshoot and support Windows OS-related issues on mobile devices.

* Provide assistance with NHSmail portal access and troubleshooting.

* Utilize remote access tools such as DameWare and RDP for troubleshooting and support.

* Manage printing portal (Lexmark) configurations and troubleshooting.

* Support PDQ and SCCM for software deployment and management.

* Ensure endpoint security by managing Sophos antivirus software and BitLocker encryption.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM) and mobile device enrollment processes.

* Strong understanding of Active Directory user administration and permissions management.

* Experience in troubleshooting Windows OS-related issues.

* Familiarity with NHSmail portal access and troubleshooting.

* Proficiency in using remote access tools like DameWare and RDP.

* Experience with printing portal configurations, specifically with Lexmark.

* Knowledge of PDQ and SCCM for software deployment and management.

* Familiarity with Sophos antivirus software and BitLocker encryption.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

* Experience with MDM solutions like WorkspaceOne.

* Familiarity with handling ServiceNow incidents and requests.

* Knowledge of Imprivata for secure authentication and access management.

This role may require you to show evidence Diploma or ECDL or at least 2 years relevant experience.
