We now have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop a career in IT support to join our Technical Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, either 8:30 to 17:00 or 9:00 to 17:30.

The Role

As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support and delivering a high-quality service to our business and public sector customers.

After initial training, you will liaise with customers and aim to remotely diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating issues to colleagues when required.

You will be involved with tasks such as ticket handling, providing support via remote login and by telephone, fault-finding, product testing, problem resolution and troubleshooting, customer onboarding and system health checks as part of SLAs.

Additionally, you will become involved with configuring, maintaining, optimising and regularly updating our customers’ camera systems. You will ensure their intelligent camera systems enjoy maximum uptime and continue to work reliably and securely.

About You

To be considered for the role of IT Support Engineer, you must have:

- An IT degree, or, at a minimum, a HND qualification in IT
- Strong IT skills and a keen interest in technology
- A basic understanding of computer networking
- Good personal organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- A team player mentality and a desire to contribute to strong team performance and success

Experience in an IT support role would be beneficial to your application but is not necessary.

First stage interviews will be held on Friday 19th July 2024 at our offices in Hoylake, Wirral.
