Technical Support Engineer – Global Financial Services | Milton Keynes
Our client, a global financial institution based in Milton Keynes, is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding IT function. This is a pivotal role combining hands‑on technical support, 2n / 3rd line support, and close collaboration within an ambitious technical team.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support — Provide support across core financial systems, resolving issues across hardware, software, and business‑critical applications.
*
Incident Resolution — Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
*
Cross‑Team Collaboration — Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
Skills & Experience Required
*
IT Support Experience — Proven background in a 2nd and 3rd line support environment.
*
Windows OS, Active Directory, Office 365
*
Networking Principles — Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
*
Troubleshooting — Strong diagnostic skills across hardware and software.
*
Financial Systems Support — Experience supporting financial or enterprise‑grade systems is highly advantageous.
