Firewall Administrator
Contract: 3-month temporary assignment
Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London)
Main Focus: Deployment of Palo Alto firewallsWe are seeking a Firewall Administrator with expertise in deploying Palo Alto firewalls. This role involves day-to-day administration and documentation of firewall systems, managing VPNs, and participating in upcoming projects related to ZTNA and Prisma cloud technology.
Day-to-day of the role:
Administer and manage firewall configurations and deployments, focusing on Palo Alto firewalls.
Maintain and update system documentation related to firewall configurations and network security protocols.
Manage and configure VPNs, ensuring secure and efficient network connections.
Participate in projects related to Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Prisma cloud technology, contributing to the enhancement of network security.
Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring stability and security across all networked systems.
Work with Azure and CD-WAN environments, integrating and managing network services.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in deploying and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
Strong understanding of network security protocols and VPN configuration.
Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Prisma cloud technology.
Proficient in network troubleshooting and resolution.
Experience working with Azure and CD-WAN.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
