???? Location: Canary Wharf - hybrid working - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

⏰ Contract Length: 6 months

???? Daily Rate: £500 - £600 (inside IR35 via umbrella)

Our client, a dynamic and globally recognised institution within the financial industry, is seeking an exceptional Project Manager - Credit/Market Risk to join their team for a 6 month initial contract. With a strong focus on providing innovative and forward-thinking solutions, our client is committed to driving excellence within the market.

???? Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Risk programmes aligned with Regulatory initiatives and the Consent Order, both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
Leverage your extensive experience to ensure the successful delivery of key projects, taking ownership of project goals.
Prepare and maintain clear and concise progress reports, time management reports, and other relevant documentation.
Proactively identify and assess potential project risks, taking preventive measures and adjusting project approaches to mitigate any issues.
Demonstrate astute problem-solving skills, effectively articulating issues and facilitating collaborative solutions among stakeholders.
Communicate project milestones, status updates, and customer escalation matters to all relevant parties.
Follow established escalation and change control processes with a proactive and transparent approach.
Foster positive working relationships across various stakeholders to promote trust, effective communication, and successful project outcomes.
Uphold the highest ethical standards, reporting and addressing any control issues as necessary.

???? Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management, with a strong background in business analysis.
Profound knowledge and experience in Capital Markets domain essential.
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Comprehensive understanding of derivatives products, such as Options, Futures, Forwards, Swaps, and Securities Financing Transactions (SFT), and advantageous experience in data migration projects.
Strong grasp of Counterparty Credit/Market/Price Risk concepts, including Basel III/IV, Credit Value Adjustment (CVA), and other relevant Risk Regulations.
Ability to comprehend complex system flows, including limitations and capabilities, and effectively represent them graphically.
Proven ability in documenting business and functional requirements.
Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder management skills, enabling collaboration and decision-making in a complex environment.
Proficiency in project planning, goal setting, and scope management, with the ability to assess and communicate the impact of requirement changes.
Strong command of MS Office applications, MS Project, and desirable skills in Jira and Confluence.
