IT Project Manager
(12 month temporary contract)
Salary up to £ 60,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of MS Sharepoint to replace on premise file stores to meet all business requirements, including the coordination of the service delivery within the agreed timescales and budgets.
You will also be responsible for project managing all aspects of the project cycle from effective planning, budgeting and scoping through to the actual implementation, documentation and sign-off.
You will also be required to build trusted and valued relationships with key stakeholders using appropriate stakeholder management techniques and communication methods to ensure effective engagement throughout the project, from initiation to project closure and realisation of benefits. You will therefore require excellent communication skills and business awareness.
The ideal candidate will have the proven ability delivering key business systems implementation while adhering to best practice for security controls and data governance. An understanding of social housing would be desirable.
To be successful in the role you will have:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade colleagues to learn new systems
* Ability to deliver training to staff at all levels and create training material
* Previous experience of implementing MS Sharepoint essential
* Excellent communication skills verbally and written
* Ability to collaborate with third parties and to negotiate and work to strict deadlines
* A proactive approach to problem solving and a ‘can do’ attitude
* The ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
* PRINCE 2 Foundation level, ideally practitioner level.
A minimum of two days working from the Trent & Dove Housing office is required.
