Description:
Interim IT procurement manager required for an initial 4 month temporary contract.
The ideal candidate will have local authority experience of the IT category including knowledge of Procurement Regulations and experience of calling off frameworks for direct awards, in particular Crown Commercial frameworks including the G Cloud framework.
Working Pattern: Full Time, the team go into the Sheffield office once a fortnight, where client meetings are scheduled.
It is hardware and software procurement but mainly software.
On a day to day basis the candidate would mainly be sourcing direct award options to stay with the same supplier. So calls offs from g Cloud, and Crown Commercial e-marketplace. Completing contract documentation, agreeing requirements with the clients.
