IT Infrastructure Specialist | London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) | £65,000-£75,000 + Benefits
A growing international business is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join its expanding technology function.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining, securing and modernising a complex infrastructure estate across both cloud and on-premise environments. You'll work closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure and be involved in a range of infrastructure improvement projects that support continued business growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on infrastructure role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance, availability and security of the organisation's infrastructure estate, while contributing to strategic cloud and infrastructure projects.
You'll work across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and endpoint technologies, helping deliver a reliable, scalable and secure technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud
Manage and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Administer Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive
Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualisation platforms
Own endpoint management through Microsoft Intune
Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration recordsSecurity & Resilience
Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning
Manage patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening
Ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient and highly availableProjects & Continuous Improvement
Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives
Drive improvements across performance, security and operational efficiency
Act as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents and problem managementAbout You
We're looking for someone with experience across modern infrastructure technologies including:
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft 365
Microsoft Intune
Windows Server
Active Directory
VMware or Hyper-V
Backup & Disaster Recovery
ITIL / ITSM environmentsExperience within multi-site environments or exposure to enterprise networking and security technologies would be advantageous.
