IT Support Analyst (1st/2nd Line)

Day Rate: £150 - £200/day (Outside IR35)
Location: Farringdon, London (5 days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months with Potential extension

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Support Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across our busy London office and regional sites. Reporting directly to the IT Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering frontline technical assistance, keeping systems running smoothly, and supporting exciting new site launches.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a major, fast-paced construction sector environment, supporting end-users, project teams, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

User Support: Provide frontline 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring high-quality customer service via the help desk ticket system.
M365 Administration: Utilize working knowledge of Microsoft 365 to administer and maintain SharePoint and OneDrive environments.
Infrastructure & Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, and peripheral IT equipment. Assist with software and OS rollouts.
Maintenance & Projects: Perform routine system updates and performance monitoring. Support key IT projects, including hardware upgrades and new network installations.
New Office Opening: Travel to Suffolk as required to assist with setting up and opening a new regional office.
Documentation: Record support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Remote Assistance: Support the IT Lead remotely as and when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in a 1st/2nd line IT technical support role.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (specifically SharePoint and OneDrive administration).
Strong hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Flexibility to travel to Suffolk when required for project support.
