IT Support Engineer
As an IT Support Engineer with DBS clearance, you will play a crucial role in delivering on-site technical support and troubleshooting to our clients. Your expertise in IT systems, hardware, and software will enable you to provide top-notch support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support and assistance to clients, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and networking equipment, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime and disruptions.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Document support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system configurations, to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting, with a focus on hardware, software, and networking solutions.
DBS clearance is mandatory due to the nature of the role.
Strong technical skills in desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS), Microsoft Office Suite, hardware peripherals, and networking technologies.
