IT Delivery Manager - Payments/Platforms

My prestigious financial services client is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to my clients Payments & Platform team to work on a variety of IT delivery projects on a1yr FTC basis.

Initial business change projects include:

ISO20021 Changing the payments system
Payments dashboard project
Card related changes - VISA, Click to PlayEssential Skills

5 - 10 years in a similar delivery manager role (This is not a consultant role)
A change management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2 etc.)
Experience of delivering multiple high profile and complex changes that have a technical and a business impact specifically in the payments space.
ISO20021 knowledge and experience
Used to working with both agile and waterfall methodology
Demonstrable recent experience with SWIFT related changes
Understanding of the SWIFT payment infrastructure
Experience in delivering payment APIs
Experience of payments related changes in FS industry
Managing third party relationships
Experience with working with Jira/ confluence
Must have worked projects on and end to end basis
Supplier management experience
Proven experience of delivering complex projects with multiple complex/high impact workstreams.
Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders facilitating efficient decision making on projects.
Proven experience of delivering complex projects with multiple complex/high impact workstreams.
The ability to apply change management skills to ensure effective project governance and delivery.Key Tasks

Contribute to the delivery of business and technology strategy through effectively performing the role of delivery manager on multiple concurrent payment related projects.
Support the successful delivery and adoption of change across the organisation.
Support Payment platform manager through adherence to the project life cycle (waterfall or agile delivery)
Support the project reporting and governance process, through reporting in via the transformation manager and PMO.
Ensuring that solutions holistically cover the changes required across systems, people and processes.
Lead change initiatives, ensuring delivery is of high quality and aligned to the strategic goals of the bank.
Ability to deliver change which ensures inclusivity across the business. This will be achieved through regular communication within the business to implement change effectively.
Deliver change in line with governance expectations, in the form of project documentation and process.
Provide challenge to ensure that Change being delivered is aligned to the Vision and strategy of the Bank, as well as providing the most effective cost solutions.
Act as a 'bridge' between the business and IT, ensuring there is effective communication between both.Role Responsibilities:

Fulfil the role of Delivery Manager on change projects, for which there are likely to be multiple concurrent projects at any one time.
Ensure the completion of key project documentation (business cases, RAID logs) to a high degree of quality on all projects.
Manage project workstreams to ensure effective delivery of changes.
Ensure the effective delivery of changes managed, including business and technical readiness.
Create clear lines of communication, with the aim of providing clear updates on progress, risks and issues to project stakeholders and interested parties.
Manage project budgets and provide effective resource management, applicable to the project(s)
Stakeholder management, ranging from Partner and Senior Management to all levels within the Business.
Contribute to the definition of innovative, cost-effective solutions in order to delivery valuable outcomes to the business.
Help to facilitate and drive an agile development methodology, where appropriate, focusing on continuous quality delivery to the business.
Work with external suppliers to ensure the organisation receives a set of quality goods and service from our vendors and partners.
Build strong and effective relationships with other teams in technology to ensure you can efficiently delivery change within the organisation.My client offers a hybrid working model with you required to be on site two days a week in Central London.
