We currently require the services of an IT Contracts Category Manager to work for a well respected client based in Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a 3 Month Rolling Contract, this is a hybrid contract in the office and Work from home.

Key Skills required:
Previous experience working in a sourcing, buying, commercial or contract management role, preferably in the IT category.
Understanding of IT contracts - SAAS/IAAS/Cloud Hosting/ Azure or AWS.
This position requires expertise in contract management, specifically in dealing with IT contracts, service reviews, and service management.
An understanding of SAP, or equivalent ERP system.
Legal knowledge of supply contracts, and the ability to negotiate and agree terms & conditions.
A collaborative team player with good influencing skills.
Sound commercial acumen, good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in designated categories with technical collaboration.
Support category sourcing strategy development and implementation.
Act as a constructive partner, capturing stakeholders' demands.
Manage supplier relationships, open new supply channels, and standardise suppliers.
Oversee operational sourcing processes, from analysis to negotiations and implementation.
Drive total cost optimisation and contribute to rationalising products/services.
Manage supply risk and implement corrective actions.
Contribute to targeted savings and handle contract or supplier-related issues.
Develop and maintain service review regimes for suppliers/partners.
Support changes to contracts and new contract introductions.
Drive performance improvement plans for Partners & Suppliers.
Manage escalations, remediation, and contingent measures through governance bodies.
Contribute to strategic direction for service measurement and SLA/KPI regimes.
