Role: IT Business Partner

Location: Battersea - (Hybrid working, 2/3 days on-site)

Duration: 12 Months FTC

Equivalent salary - £59,000

Role Description:

We are looking for an IT Business Partner, with a background in project delivery, to be the strategic interface between our UK market and Group IT.

You are all about building, nurturing and managing relationships across all levels within the business, especially at senior levels. You will also lead delivery of several strategic and operational initiatives that ultimately delivers business value. You can provide technological insights to ultimately solve business problems.

The IT BP will also be expected to work with multiple IT teams to ensure that all business needs, including future-oriented strategic developments are balanced and prioritised to ensure maximum returns on investment.

Key responsibilities:

Be an advocate for Technology and help in-market end users to navigate the IT organisation. You will help deliver IT strategy in market and provide feedback to the IT team on user requirements and improvement opportunities
Strong stakeholder management and ability to manage competing view and agendas to negotiate and manage expectations.
Gather and understand business requirements and ideas; consistently translate ideas and requirements into clearly articulated definitions for projects. Concisely documenting business requirements and critically analysing business processes.
Help scope and support approved projects and business changes. Ensure they remain on track to meet our requirements, align with strategy and realise the expected value.
Own the development and activation of multiple project plans by closing working with IT and managed services team. You will be responsible for implementation and realisation - including on time delivery and quality of implementation
Manage project risks and develop scenarios to mitigate. Provide regular and appropriate updates of delivery against plan across senior levels of the businessKey skills required:

Bias for action - taking accountability in making things happen - both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in end-to-end project implementation.
Ideally 4+ years' experience in a IT BP or PM role within a CPG or FMCG company.
Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with autonomy
The ability to effectively lead and engage cross functional global teams and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organisation and able to adapt to changing priorities
Measuring an independent set of outcomes and benefits to ensure that strategic goals are achieved
Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating skills in persuading disparate audiences at all levels in the organisation
