Application Manager – Glasgow
Alexander Steele Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a Glasgow-based food business to recruit an experienced Application Manager.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the company's IT systems and applications. You'll take ownership of Microsoft 365, business applications, infrastructure, end-user support, and automation, working closely with colleagues across the business and external technology partners to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support business applications, including ERP and warehouse systems.
* Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 environment.
* Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
* Oversee network infrastructure alongside the managed service provider.
* Provide Windows and macOS desktop support.
* Manage third-party suppliers, software licensing and technical escalations.
* Identify opportunities to improve systems and business processes.
About You
* Previous experience in an Application Manager, IT Manager or senior IT support role.
* Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
* Good understanding of networking and infrastructure.
* Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
