Our client, who we have partnered with for over 8 years is hiring an IT Analyst – Street Naming & Numbering (SNN) who has familiarity with BS7666, street data management and LLPG.

You’ll maintain high-quality address data, manage complex address queries and help keep the council’s gazetteers accurate, compliant and well governed.

This is a good opportunity for an address data specialist who wants a varied role in a large, complex organisation, with the flexibility of mostly remote working.

What you’ll be doing

Delivering the Street Naming and Numbering process from start to finish
Maintaining and improving address data in the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) to BS7666 standards
Supporting the Local Street Gazetteer (LSG)
Handling complex address queries from internal departments, developers, residents and other external stakeholders
Making sure data quality and governance standards are met across address management systems
Supporting a range of other council business applications when needed (full training provided)
Essential experience:

Strong hands-on experience of Street Naming and Numbering processes
Good knowledge of BS7666 and address data management within an LLPG
A strong understanding of data quality and governance in address management systems
Proven experience managing complex address-related queries from a range of stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive, customer-focused self-starter who is comfortable working in a large organisation
Desirable:

Experience with a Local Street Gazetteer (LSG)
Experience using evOGMS or a similar LLPG/LSG management system
Experience supporting any of the following: Alloy, Convey, Exacom Obligations Suite, Idox Cloud, LAS Access, Mayrise, OASIS, PaxQR/QRoutes, RingGo, Taranto, KADOE
Don’t worry if you haven’t used these systems. Training will be given, and SNN and LLPG experience is the priority.
