IT Account Manager – Education IT MSP

Location: Oxford – Hybrid (3 days a week in the office, 2 from home) 
Salary: £32k - £36k base salary + great employee benefits

We’re looking for an IT Account Manager to join an established IT Managed Service Provider supporting schools across England. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping schools access the technology, products and services they need to operate effectively and support outstanding teaching and learning. The role will suit someone who has previous experience as an Internal Account Manager, IT Sales Account Manager, Internal Sales Account Manager or IT Account Executive.

You’ll manage the full customer journey, from receiving enquiries and understanding requirements through to producing accurate quotations, converting opportunities, processing sales orders, coordinating purchasing and ensuring products and services are delivered on time.

Working closely with schools, suppliers, consultants, project teams and internal stakeholders, you’ll become a trusted point of contact for your region. You’ll provide product guidance, manage customer expectations, support renewals, negotiate with suppliers and identify potential sales opportunities.

About you:

You’ll bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working to agreed SLAs. Experience in IT sales, internal sales, account management, procurement or customer service is highly desirable, particularly within the IT channel.

Knowledge of CRM and accounting systems, Microsoft licensing, hardware, software or ICT procurement would be advantageous. Experience within the education sector would be a bonus.
