Description:

IT Account Manager – Existing Customer Base / Farmer Role

???? Up to £40,000 + £10,000 Bonus

???? Telford / Wolverhampton

???? IT MSP | Technology | SaaS | Managed Services

Love developing existing customers rather than spending your day cold calling?

Chapman Tate Associates are working with a growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of an established portfolio of customers.

This is very much a farmer-led Account Management role.

The focus is on retaining, developing and growing existing customer relationships – understanding your clients, becoming their trusted technology partner and identifying opportunities to provide additional services where there is a genuine business need.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll own a portfolio of established customers and be responsible for:

• Building strong, long-term relationships with existing clients

• Regular account reviews and customer meetings

• Understanding customers' businesses, technology environments and future plans

• Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your account base

• Managing renewals and maximising customer retention

• Increasing account value through additional technology and managed services

• Developing relationships across multiple stakeholders within each customer

• Working alongside technical and service teams to ensure customers receive a high-quality service

• Managing proposals, quotations and commercial discussions

• Maintaining account plans, opportunities and forecasts within the CRM

We're Flexible on Your Background

You don't need to come directly from an MSP.

We're interested in people from:

SaaS | Software | IT Services | Cloud | Cyber Security | Technology Vendors | IT Resellers | Managed Services

You could currently be an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Client Manager, Relationship Manager or Internal Account Manager looking for your next step.

What matters is that you have:

✓ A genuine account management / farmer mentality

✓ Experience managing and developing an existing customer portfolio

✓ A background within Technology, IT or SaaS

✓ Experience working with mid-market / mid-cap customers and deal sizes

✓ Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

✓ Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities

✓ Experience with renewals, retention, upselling and cross-selling

✓ The ability to build credibility with customers rather than relying on transactional sales

Package

???? Basic salary up to £40,000

???? Bonus up to £10,000

???? Established customer portfolio

???? Relationship-led, account-development position

???? Not a high-volume cold-calling role

If you're an Account Manager who enjoys building relationships, retaining customers and growing accounts over the long term, this could be an excellent next move.
