Saturday night shift

Rail based (PTS not needed)

IPAF = International Powered Access Federation. An IPAF Operator is licensed to operate cherry pickers, scissor lifts, boom lifts - what they call MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).Typical job description for UK:Role: IPAF Operator (3a & 3b usually required)Main MEWPs safely to access height - scissor lift (3a), boom / cherry picker (3b), static boom (1b) depending on cardCarry out daily checks - oil, hydraulics, emergency descent, harnessesWork at height - e.g. cladding, steel erection, electrical install, maintenance, signageFollow RAMS, wear harness, clip in, set up exclusion zones and outriggersReport faults, keep IPAF logbook and MEWP inspection recordsWhat employers IPAF card - in date (3 years expiry) - Category 3a & 3b is standardCSCS cardSafety harness certificateExperience in construction / warehousing / facilitiesHead for heights, clean driving license if driving the MEWP to site
