Senior iOS Engineer - Native Swift & Backend-Driven UI
Location: Hybrid Options Available
Role Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join an established product team building native features and backend-driven UI solutions.
If you can quickly jump into an existing codebase, write clean code, and reliably deliver features with minimal guidance, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop native iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
Own tasks from technical design through to production release.
Collaborate with backend devs, product managers, and designers in an Agile environment.
Maintain high code quality through unit testing, debugging, and monitoring tools.
Requirements
3+ years of professional iOS development experience (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit).
Proven ability to onboard quickly into large, existing codebases.
Strong experience with modern iOS architecture (MVVM), Xcode, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Solid understanding of unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Pragmatic problem-solver with great communication skills (familiarity with AI tools like Claude/Codex is a plus).
Nice to Have
Large-scale consumer app experience.
Observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Firebase).
A/B testing platforms and performance optimization.
